A Message from Employee & Families Resources in Response to COVID-19

Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19 has been in the news and for many, the uncertainty of this pandemic can increase feelings of anxiety and stress, which is a normal response under such circumstances. Please don’t forget to look to EFR to help you navigate these feelings in the coming days and weeks. EFR is prepared to continue serving our clients. As part of our business continuity plan, our phone services will not be interrupted and many of our EAP counselors have access to telehealth counseling options. Do not hesitate to reach out. If your county extension staff are enrolled in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through your IECA membership, they have access to all EAP services from Employee and Family Resources.  If your county has not enrolled, but would like to learn more, please contact IECA Executive Director Terry Maloy.
