ISU Extension and Outreach leadership seeks council member feedback on the Structured for Success Committee’s draft proposal and models for a renewed partnership between Iowa State University and county extension councils.
The following materials are available for review https://www.extension.iastate.edu/countyservices/structured-success-feedback:
- Executive Summary -- Structured for Success: A Proposal
- White Paper – Structured for Success: A Review of ISU Extension and Outreach’s Organizational Structure
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Archive of the Aug. 20 webinar with Dr. John Lawrence, Vice President for Extension and Outreach
Please review these materials. The executive summary includes a brief overview of the Structured for Success Committee’s process, goals, and strategies, along with the draft proposal. The white paper also includes this information, as well as a summary of the information the committee gathered, and the committee’s guiding principles for effectively educating and serving Iowans. An FAQ will be updated as more questions and answers are gathered. If you were unable to participate in the live webinar, please watch the archive.
You may send feedback initially via the virtual suggestion box on the Vice President for Extension and Outreach website, https://www.extension.iastate.edu/vp/. You may also contact your region's IECA board member with your questions, concerns and suggestions. Three board members (Jamie David, Lori Donahoe, and Paul Gieselman) and I represented extension council members on the committee and would be glad to talk with you about the proposal, as well. Additional ways to provide feedback will become available over the next several weeks.
Thank you for your assistance in determining an organizational structure that will help us effectively educate and serve Iowans.
