The Iowa Extension Council Association is made up of a 25-member board of directors who represent the 900 county extension council members in the State of Iowa. Extension council members are elected officials who oversee the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach efforts in their county. These elected officials are responsible for the county's Extension and Outreach budget, directing the county's Extension and Outreach program, and hiring the employees to carry out the work that serves the needs of Iowans. Our Mission The Iowa Extension Council Association serves as a vehicle for networking between county extension councils of Iowa, Iowa State University, and government leaders to promote and strengthen all local and statewide Extension programs. 2023-24 IECA Officers President: Kelly Jared President-Elect: Bruce Clark Secretary: Kasey Peters Treasurer: Jamie Thompson IECA Staff Jennifer Vit, Executive Director, 515-291-9186 Julie Baumler, IECA Assistant, 515-294-8475 3-Minutes About IECA Your Name Your Email Subject Who would you like to connect with?
