Several county extension council members attended the welcome reception for Vice President for Extension and Outreach Jason Henderson.

The fall 2022 IECA membership benefits survey yielded insight that can be used in identifying ways the association can better serve its members.

This year’s event is a more targeted approach to make individual connections with senators and representatives.

Jason Henderson has been appointed vice president of Iowa State's extension and outreach programs. He will join Iowa State April 3.

This hands-on workshop will help participants understand the financial role of a council member, decipher the various fiscal reports, identify financial health of an extension district, and be able to determine what’s missing or not adding up based on what you see of the county’s finances.

Mark your calendars now for the evenings of February 2 from 7:00 - 9:30 PM and February 7 from 6:30 - 9:30 PM.

Extension Council orientation is scheduled for various dates and locations between December 3 - January 4. New and continuing County Extension Council members are encouraged to attend. 

Extension councils and staff have until November 15 to provide feedback about the draft MOU and addendums.

These annual reports showcase the association's work to help councils do their important work, which in turns helps build a #StrongIowa.
