On February 22, county extension council members met with legislators at the Iowa Extension Council Association legislative breakfast held at Capitol Building in Des Moines.

The 2024 Extension Council Conference will be held in six locations across the state in late March through early April.

This training has been postponed and will be rescheduled.

Council members are invited to learn more about property tax trends and how it will potentially impact their revenue.

Jason Henderson has been appointed vice president of Iowa State's extension and outreach programs. He will join Iowa State April 3.

This hands-on workshop will help participants understand the financial role of a council member, decipher the various fiscal reports, identify financial health of an extension district, and be able to determine what’s missing or not adding up based on what you see of the county’s finances.
